RAEYC
The Reno Association for the Education of Young Children (RAEYC) is a local chapter of the Nevada AEYC and affiliated with the National Association. RAEYC serves individuals working in early childhood education in the Reno/Sparks and surrounding areas. They sponsor educational events, advocacy activities, special events such as the annual ECE Awards Night, and have regular membership meetings.
RAEYC Mission Statement
We value the members and others in our communities who teach and nurture our children. We profess this value through our commitment, interest, recognition and support of the contributions made by Early Childhood Educators. We seek to advance the efforts to improve and raise the standards by which acceptable child care is measured. We believe that the potential for children's success can be positively shaped by early influence.
