Board Elections
Nevada AEYC and the two local affiliates in Reno and Southern Nevada are governed by boards which are elected on a regular basis (see bylaws). Board positions and the terms of each office are defined by each group. The boards strive to have broad representation from the general membership and the ECE community. Individuals must be members (or willing to become a member) of the Nevada AEYC in order to serve on a board.
The election process typically includes nominations (either self-nominated or by another member), the presentation of a slate and ballot to members, and a process and time line for members to vote. Election information is being provided in order to assure members have accurate and timely information about the election of the governing boards.
NevAEYC Governing Board - Slate of Candidates
The following slate of candidates is presented for your consideration
for election to the NevAEYC Governing Board. The online ballot also
includes a space to write in an alternate name, if desired. The key
responsibilities for each office are provided, along with each
candidate's short bio and photos (if available). Terms of office are
for two years, beginning January 1, 2009.
There will not be a paper ballot for this election. Voting will take
place online via Survey Monkey. Cast your vote now.
Members were notified of the election slate and process for voting via a
post card, which included instructions for online voting. Only current
members of Nevada AEYC may vote. To confirm membership, please contact
the NevAEYC VP of Membership or log on to www.naeyc.org.

SNAEYC Governing Board - Slate of Candidates
